Month long fundraiser will kick-off May 3rd with a “Law & Orders Night” at all Syracuse, Rochester, Watertown, Buffalo, Batavia and Vestal Tully’s restaurants.

Rochester, Buffalo, Batavia, Syracuse, Watertown, Vestal, NY April 24th, 2018 – In its 6th year as a major sponsor, Tully’s Good Times Restaurants will expand its fundraising effort and team up with law enforcement agencies to support the Special Olympics, Central, Western and Northern New York — and the Southern Tier. The goal is to raise $10,000 as a Gold Sponsor for the upcoming Special Olympics New York State Summer Games.

“On Thursday, May 3rd from 5 to 8pm, Tully’s Restaurants will host a “Law & Orders Night,” said Sam Bregande from Tully’s Good Times. “This popular event is where law enforcement officers and Special Olympics athletes team up with our staff at Tully’s to help raise money. They will be at our restaurants assisting servers, hostesses and bussers, to ask for your support.”

Every Thursday thereafter in May, Tully’s will donate a portion of every Tully’s Tender®, Buffalo Chicken Tender and Asian Chicken Tender dinners sold. “This is our 6th year working with the Special Olympics and our relationship just keeps growing,” Bregande added. Cassandra Rucker, Director of Development, Special Olympics NY added, “We are involving Special Olympics athletes, their families and law enforcement officers from agencies across the state, to support what we believe is one of the all-time greatest sport events.”

Celebrating its 32nd Anniversary in New York, Torch Run® is a year-round, grassroots fundraising and awareness campaign by law enforcement agencies to benefit their local Special Olympics program. Each year, officers carry the “Flame of Hope” through the streets of their hometowns, and deliver it to their local, state and national Special Olympics games.
