We hope you are enjoying the very tail end of summer, though after Labor Day, it does begin to feel like autumn. We have several things in the works. Teresa is off and running with several fund-raisers gearing up and we start our event calendar with local Bowling on October 7th and Regional Golf that same afternoon. On October 8th, we host our Fall Sports Festival in Beacon with Softball Team, Unified Softball Team, Softball Skills and Soccer Team Competitions.

One of our greatest supporters, North East Special Recreation has, much like Special Olympics NY, had a fantastic leader for over two decades in Janet Riley. Janet has decided to take her foot off the pedal and enjoy life at a slightly slower pace. She requested we post her position to assist in finding a suitable candidate for the North East Special Recreation Executive Director. If you have interest in the position, just click on the blue job title for all the details.

Saturday, 4 November at Onatru Park in Lewisboro. $250/team
