Capital/North Country Region – Mark Brannigan Memorial Team Bowling Invitational

Marc Brannigan was a shining light for the North Country, dedicated to supporting families, coaches, and volunteers. He took great pride in watching athletes strive for their best, but above all, he cherished the pride and joy reflected in their smiles.

In honor of Marc, the Brannigan family will be present this inaugural year to kick off the event with the introduction of the Shamrock Award. This award will be dedicated each year to a Special Olympics coach who demonstrates exceptional passion for the athletes of Special Olympics NY.

1. Head to our Online Volunteer Portal
   1. Follow the link here: https://portals.specialolympics.org/
2. Create an Account
   1. You will be asked to verify your email and then answer a few questions about yourself. (This is a one-time process; if you volunteer with us in the future, you will simply just need to log in!)
3. Age 13-17?
   1. You will be asked to have a parent/guardian sign our Under 18 form. Click on the “My Checklist” button to complete this.
4. Volunteer Zone
   1. Welcome! Click on the “Sign up for an Event” button. Choose the event “2025 Marc Brannigan Memorial Team Bowling Invitational” then select the “bowling volunteer” shift.
